What does the Sales Representative module do?
The Sales Representative module for Magento allows store owners to create sales representative admin profiles. These sales representatives will be directly assigned to customers and orders and manage customer quotes and their orders. Also, they will be the contact person for the customer for any of their queries or requests.

With the growing eCommerce business, sometimes it gets challenging to keep track of all the orders and satisfy every customer request. Especially for the B2B business, it's always good to have a sales representative so the buyer can contact one person for all their orders and other requirements.
The default Magento 2 functionality does not provide the functionality to assign admin users with specific customers and orders. So it becomes hard to manage and monitor all orders and customers.
The module makes it easier for the store owner to create sales reps who handle customers and orders. Using this strategy, business owners can improve customer service and help increase customer retention.

How module works
Create a Sales Representative profile
Each sales representative is an admin user. The only difference is that their contact and other information are specified so customers can see them.
In the admin user detail page, the module adds a new tab called "Sales Representative" where you can define all the details.
It would be best to ensure that the created sales representative is assigned to the User Role with sales representative functionality enabled.
Assigning sales representatives to specific customer groups
A sales representative can be assigned to one or more specific customer groups. The sales representative will be directly assigned to the existing or new customers and their orders. This feature helps with automatically assigning the representative to a specific customer group.
Sales Representatives can be assigned to specific orders
In the admin order grid, the Sales Representative assigned to each order will appear. The module allows store owners to manually assign a sales representative to specific orders for special handling of essential orders.
Customers can see their assigned sales representative details
The module will add a new section in the customer account dashboard, "Sales Representative." In this section, the details of the sales representative assigned to the customer will be visible. All the details of the sales representative that are added in admin will be visible here.
The module also shows the details of the assigned sales representative on the order detail page under the customer account dashboard.
Sales Representative details will also be available in the order confirmation email
In the order confirmation email, the details of the sales representative will be available that is assigned to the customer. This helps customers know who to contact to get more information about their order.
Also, the sales representatives receive copies of their customers' order confirmation emails to be aware of customer activity.
